The most interesting thing today

The most interesting thing that happened to me today was that I overcooked the vege in my maggi mee and they turned a sickly yellow. Papa scolded me for cooking it for 3 min instead of 2. bleh. The attempt to make teriyaki sauce using soy sauce, sugar & 花雕酒 was pretty decent, although I don't know whether it was down to the soy sauce. also, it didn't go down too well with maggi mee. haha. hopefully it'll be better tmr @ bbq.

What I'm searching for

I'm searching for the fundamentals of how we live, how we think. Not how we should live or should think, but simply how it is. I have been always thinking of lofty ideals and good-sounding principles but I realised it doesn't cut any ice with pple. And it makes it sadder for myself when I see how far the world is from the ideal state that I imagine the world should be. I guess it's time for me to stop wasting my time on politics and newspapers. I need to search deeper within myself and within others. But for what? What is it that I seek? The seed of life in ourselves.
