My simple life

Don't run away, my simple life,
o be always by my side,
the troubles of this world's too much
for my creaky heart to bear.

Oh I don't mind walking the muddy trails,
or even where no one has passed,
I don't need the grand entrances
and highways to heaven.

The little things i wanna treasure,
the bigger things can come and go.
Why can't I be a little guy,
I just wanna love the ones around me more.

This destiny I have chosen,
it's something I never knew I'll go.
But after all the ups and downs,
its something I have to know.
